This notice explains the data handled by the Mellow Day Hub website. The publisher’s identity, contact email, hosting provider and email provider are still awaiting confirmation. The enquiry service remains disabled until those details are supplied and this notice is updated.
Reading the journal
You do not need an account to read articles. The site includes no advertising pixels, third-party analytics, embedded maps or social-media widgets. Images, styles and scripts are served from the site itself.
The hosting service may receive connection data such as your IP address, browser information, requested page and time of access. The actual provider, processing location and log-retention period must be disclosed before public launch.
When the contact service is activated
The form asks for an optional name, your email, subject and message, plus an unchecked consent box. These fields are used only to read and answer your enquiry or investigate a correction. They are not used to subscribe you to marketing. Do not send identity documents, financial details or sensitive information.
The included handler does not store message bodies in a website database. Once configured, it passes the enquiry to the publisher’s email system. Access should be limited to people handling enquiries. A proposed retention period is 90 days after an enquiry is resolved, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise; the publisher must confirm and implement this before collecting data.
For abuse prevention, the configured handler uses a short-lived hash of the connection IP to limit repeated requests. It keeps no raw IP in that rate-limit record. Hosting logs are separate.
Cookie choice
If you choose “Remember my choice”, one first-party preference cookie records that this notice has been seen for up to 180 days. It is not used for advertising or analytics. “Continue without saving” sets no preference cookie and removes an existing one. See the cookie policy.
Your requests
Subject to applicable law, you may ask about your data, request access or a readable copy, request correction or deletion, and withdraw consent. Once an editorial contact is supplied, it will also be the channel for these requests. Withdrawal does not undo processing already lawfully completed.
Providers and external links
Hosting and email processing, including any cross-border transfers, must be identified by the actual publisher before activation. We do not sell enquiry information. External websites handle data under their own policies when you follow a link. Material changes to this notice will be dated on this page.
